A greenhouse for intentional rooting and growth.
Herbal Kin cohort (led by Emily of Sunday Herbal and Aleksa of Hale & Hart ) that provides grassroots, peer-led support for growing herbalists in practice. While valuable herbalist groups exist online and in person, they’re often behind a paywall, led by advanced mentors, and/or geographically distant. In Herbal Kin, we aim to create a more accessible, peer-driven, and values-based cohort. Specifically, we strive to move beyond the clear limitations of “western herbalism”, unpack subversive topics, and ground our practices in collective liberation while supporting each other through peer-review.
At Herbal Kin, we engage in:
Group discussions on topics of collective choosing
Case study roundtables
Herb(s) of the month
Guided meditations, collective self-reflections, and other group activities
Collaborations on community classes, zines, etc.
Co-creating Herbal Kin together!
Our vision is ultimately to establish a values-oriented network of clinical herbalists that will strengthen our personal and community care practices over time.
